FAQ
How long does shipping take?
In-stock items ship within the lead time shown on the product page (usually 2–5 working days) via The Courier Guy, with 2–4 days in transit nationwide. Shipping is free on orders over R 1 500.
Do your prices include VAT?
No VAT is charged. Arazet Design is not yet a registered VAT vendor, so the price you see is the price you pay — there is no VAT added at checkout and no VAT portion on your invoice. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR).
What is your returns policy?
Unworn, unwashed items in original condition can be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange. Custom-branded items can only be returned if defective.
What is the minimum order for custom branding?
Custom embroidery and transfer runs start at 10 units. Orders of 50+ units qualify for volume pricing, and 100+ for bulk rates.
What artwork files do you accept?
Vector files — SVG, EPS, AI or print-ready PDF. Our lab checks every file and confirms sizing and colour matching before production starts.
How do you handle my personal information?
We comply with POPIA. We only collect what's needed to fulfil your order, marketing is strictly opt-in, and you can request deletion of your data at any time via sales@arazetdesign.co.za.
Where is Arazet Design based?
Arazet Design is based at 153 13th Avenue, Kensington, Cape Town, in the Western Cape. We are a developer-run studio and we ship nationwide across South Africa via The Courier Guy.
Do you do custom embroidery in Cape Town?
Yes. We do custom embroidery on hoodies, tees, caps and jackets from our Cape Town studio, matching your brand colours exactly. Runs start at 10 units. Local Cape Town clients can arrange collection instead of courier delivery.
What is the difference between embroidery and DTF transfer printing?
Embroidery stitches your logo into the fabric — it is hard-wearing, has a premium texture, and suits caps, polos and hoodies, but it is less suited to fine detail or photographic artwork. DTF (direct-to-film) transfer printing presses a full-colour print onto the garment, so it handles gradients, photographs and intricate detail at a lower unit cost. Many team kits use embroidery on the chest and a DTF print on the back or sleeve.
How long does a custom branding order take?
Most custom runs take 7–10 working days from artwork approval, plus 2–4 days courier transit. Larger orders of 100 units or more typically need 10–14 working days. If you have a fixed event date, tell us up front and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you pay.
Can you match my exact brand colours?
Yes. Send your brand's Pantone or hex values with your artwork and we match thread and print colours to them. We confirm the colour match with you before production starts, so there are no surprises on the finished garment.
Can I order a single item with my logo on it?
For custom branding our minimum is 10 units, because setup work is the same whether we brand one garment or ten. If you need a single item, our ready-made Arazet Design range is available in single quantities with no minimum.
Do you ship outside Cape Town?
Yes. We ship to all nine South African provinces via The Courier Guy, typically 2–4 working days in transit. Shipping is free on orders over R 1 500; below that a flat R 99 nationwide rate applies.
How much does custom branded merch cost?
Cost depends on the garment, the branding method and the quantity. As a guide, unit prices drop at 50 units and again at 100 units. The quickest way to get a real number is our online quote tool, which gives an indicative estimate immediately; a firm quote follows once we have reviewed your artwork.
