Arazet Design processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Order details (name, delivery address, email, phone), account details if you register or sign in with Google, the contents of your cart while signed in (so it follows you across devices), and artwork files you upload for custom work. We do not take card payments and never collect card details.
To fulfil orders, provide support, and — only with your explicit opt-in consent — send marketing email on the topics you choose. Consent boxes are never pre-ticked, and we keep a record of when you opted in and what you agreed to.
Every marketing email includes a link to change which topics you get or unsubscribe from all of them, with no sign-in needed. You can also manage this under Email preferences in your account. Order and account emails are separate and aren't affected. If an address bounces or reports our email as spam, we stop emailing it. If you have been unsubscribed for 24 months we delete your details, keeping only a scrambled (hashed) copy of your address so you aren't added back by mistake.
We share delivery details with our courier. Our site, accounts and order records run on Google Firebase and Google Cloud, order emails are sent through our email provider, and we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. These providers may store data on servers outside South Africa, under safeguards comparable to POPIA. We do not sell personal information.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing sales@arazetdesign.co.za. We will action deletion requests within 30 days, subject to records we must keep by law (e.g. tax invoices).
